So back in August, Lance at Jungle of  Life and Kim and Jason at Escape Adulthood held their own 15 Minutes with The Levity Project event!  It was a Laughter Flash in a public park.  Check out this video they made.

What would the world be like if we all contributed 15 more minutes of laughter to the world each month, each week or each day?

We need you and your laughter.  It is a gift to us all.  Let your laughter light shine….

Katie,
Thanks so much for the shout out, and for the continued reminders of just how deeply good laughing is for us. The video has some great examples of how great this laughter flash, which you were the inspiration behind, how really good that was for people! Being a part of this event, I can say that these words spoken rang true for everyone there on that day – how what started as forced laughter quickly became so real and so connecting.

Kudos, Katie – for all you do to promote laughter and levity in our world!

I LOVED that! I was hoping someone would have video of what was done in August, and my gosh, how fantastic to view such a great event! Wow, wow, wow!

Now, I would have totally been that girl 2/3 of the way through with brown hair and sunglasses saying, “I was a little hesitant about it, so I thought I’d just stand in the back and yada yada yada…” Yep, that’s usually me, and then when she got into it, that’s me, too. (Takes me awhile to warm up!)

This needs to be a yearly event — and the more I see things like this (the “Validation” video on YouTube, the two guys complimenting others at a University, and now the laugh fest), the more I think that’s what this world needs more of: LEVITY!

Amen to this post! Amen to the idea! And Amen to you and Lance and anyone else who participated!

Now, THAT was outlandish!!

I just loved seeing Lance on video, my first time to catch him in action.

Fun!

You know I’m definitely spear-heading this here in Austin. And when is that date supposed to be?? I need to write it on every calendar.

Looks like all of you had a great time. I love Lance’s hat. It makes it easy to laugh when you have a cool trigger like that.

I like how at first it was forced and then it became real. I can see myself feeling awkward at first then having fun with it.

That was awesome! Indeed it is great that you guys taped it, so those of us who could not make it there for this fun event could see how it all unfolded!

Woo hoo! Laughter – what a fun way to go through life as Tess above said indeed :)
